Adam Wilson caught the political bug from his father when he was young.
Now he has put his name into the race to run for Ward 6 in the upcoming municipal election.
The Nova Scotia native has been in the area on and off for 10 years.
Wilson and his wife originally moved to Simcoe and lived there for about four years before travelling to BC for work, and when the time came to return to Ontario they relocated to Port Dover and have been there for about four years.
The candidate said the biggest issue Norfolk is facing is water supply, but he knows there is a plan in place that the next council needs to ensure is carried out.
But that isn’t the only issue he wants to tackle.
If Wilson gets a seat at the table, he said he will be bringing two major things to the team.
He added he has been reaching out to service clubs, boards of trade, and businesses to get a well-rounded idea of the many needs of the members of the community.
