If youth in the area are looking for a fun and exciting thing to do – why not join the cadets?
This Saturday, from noon until 4 p.m., the Simcoe Armoury will open up for potential applicants to come in and see what the program is all about.
That was Captain Peter Davis speaking behalf of 2853 Army Cadet Corps in Simcoe.
At the Open House, you can really get to know more about the program that could last years depending on when you sign up.
He explains that the program itself spans several months, but it does open up other opportunities for the other months when the program isn’t active.
Davis explains what youth should expect on a weekly basis if they sign up.
He adds that the uniform and all equipment is free for this program.
