Two local women are splitting $100,000 after saying yes to Encore.
Teresa Garden of Port Dover and Donna Smith of Paris met at work over 30 years ago and have been playing the lottery together for around 15.
Garden said she almost didn’t buy the ticket but changed her mind right before the OLG terminal closed for the draw.
Smith said she thought Garden was pranking her when she first saw the prize amount.
The $1 Encore turned into a new vehicle for Smith and travel money for Garden.
The winning ticket was purchased online.
