A local store receiving big recognition.
Sobeys in Simcoe was named Store of the Year for the west district.
Store Manager, Krista Caldwell, said there are a number of things used to decide which location is the top store for the year.
They have a celebration planned for September 1, that will see a Schneiders truck in front of the store selling hotdogs.
That BBQ will be free for all staff members. Employees will also have their names put into draws for prizes.
When speaking of her staff, Caldwell was full of pride.
The distinction was awarded for the 2022 fiscal year.
