This is the last week for local writers to get their submissions in for the Libraries’ writing contest.
The 2022 Norfolk Literary Prize contest is looking for people to show off their creative skills.
That was Belinda Smith, Virtual Library Coordinator.
The goal this year is to get as many writers as possible to submit, as this fun contest continues to grow year after year.
You can either submit a short story or a poem.
There are certain rules in place for each category though.

• Must be typed
• Must be double-spaced
• Must have pages numbered
Poems:
• May be any length
• Must be typed
• Must be double-spaced

You have until July 31st to enter with winners announced in October.
