A budding filmmaker has been given 25-hundred dollars to help pursue his dream.
Mason Mantha has received the Community First Scholarship awarded by My Broadcasting Corporation.
It is a simple motto, but Mantha believes community means helping your neighbours and treating them the way you want to be treated.
Mantha is thankful for the money and says it will help with food and rent while away at school. Both Mya Simpson and Roma Walker also got 500-dollars as part of the MBC scholarship program.
