Lynnwood Arts has reopened with a new exhibit.
After being closed for over three years, Lynnwood is now welcoming the community back inside for an art project entitled Rebuild, Restore, Renew Together.
That was Kim Shippey, director, at the opening event on Wednesday at the gallery.
The exhibit is featuring multiple Indigenous artists from southern Ontario.
Nikki Shawana of the Odawa Nation spoke of the pieces she has on display.
Ojibwe artist, Michael Green, also discussed his inspiration for his pieces in the show.
The exhibit is open for the community to enjoy for the entire month of June. Members of the community are able to attend the museum during their business hours, throughout the month to receive a tour.
Shippey explained their plans to get more of the community involved in the exhibit.
The exhibit was made possible in partnership with the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board.
