Thecla Ross believes the government is too involved in people’s lives.
That is why she is running in the upcoming provincial election for the Freedom Party.
Ross said the Freedom Party wants individuals to have more personal responsibility, and less government.
She also believes freedoms were taken away during the pandemic.
The local candidate said the party wants to help get people that faced fines throughout the pandemic back on their feet.
She added the Freedom Party doesn’t want to become what people know to be governing bodies today.
The provincial election takes place on June 2.
