Nate Hawkins is hoping Haldimand-Norfolk looks at the New Blue party when it comes to the upcoming Provincial Election.
Hawkins grew up in Caledonia before moving out to North Bay with the Reserves to get his Criminal Justice Degree.
He moved back to the area and settled down at a hobby farm in Fisherville with his wife and four kids, where he currently works as a firefighter for the city of Toronto.
After attending several meetings, one thing lead to another and Hawkins ended up being the man to represent the local New Blue party.
Hawkins feels there are a lot of people out there with strong Conservative values who feel lost this election.
He said he is concerned about another 4 years of Conservatives in power, specifically 4 more years in power in Haldimand-Norfolk with their appointed nominee Ken Hewitt.
He said a lot of the issues he wanted to address, should he be elected, deal with freedoms.
Specifically, he did not like government influence when it came to pushing COVID-19 vaccines.
He said we should also being our MPP making a fuss when it comes to area farms that are unable to plant their crops due to restrictions – regardless of which level is making it difficult.
