The first confirmed case of the flu has arrive in the area.
Much like COVID, the symptoms are similar – cough, fever, body aches, and extreme exhaustion and possibly nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Because they are so similar, the health unit is asking people to do a COVID-19 self assessments should they develop these symptoms and follow the directions provided.
Flu shots are officially done for the season but will be coming back in the fall.
