Almost $7 million dollars is being invested in long-term care in Haldimand and Norfolk by the Ontario government.
Facilities that will benefit include Norview Lodge, in Simcoe which will receive will receive more than one and a half million dollars.
Dover Cliffs, in Port Dover, will receive just under $471 thousand dollars. Over $560 thousand dollars will be given to Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, in Simcoe.
The money will pay for additional staffing to increase the hours of direct care for residents.
