It’s a special milestone for local family business.
Taylor Optical is celebrating 50 years in the community – though many who use it may still know it by a different name, according to owner Bob Taylor.
He said for 50 years, they have continued to help families across generations get the eye care they need.
In turn, the Taylor family is keeping the company going through the generations as well with Bob being joined by his sons Ryan, Optician, and Jordan, Optometrist.
Ryan was able to join Bob on the call to speak about the many customers over the years.
Bob says one thing has remained the same over 50 years – the unique service and that connection to their clients.
While no formal celebrations are underway, the family is happy to still be a cornerstone of Downtown Simcoe and look forward to continuing the business for many years.
