A peaceful pro-choice trucker convoy is heading to Ottawa.
Members of the convoy are taking the fight to the Federal government.
This Saturday, a rally is being held in Simcoe for members of the community to show their support.
Organizer Ashley Wills spoke with us on Monday, roughly 24 hours after initiating the local project through a page on Facebook.
Since we last spoke, an additional 1000 people joined the group.
More specifically, according to Wills Facebook post, they are looking at meeting around the Duck Park area.
Wills believes that the message this convoy is carrying is something that resonates with people from all walks of life.
She also added that if you are joining the group, or heading to the protest, to specifically target vaccines then this is not the right group.
