Delhi District Secondary School students have started fundraising to host their own prom.
That was Kaylynn Riches, a Grade 12 student at the school.
Riches says they want to be prepared if COVID-19 restrictions are loosened by the end of the school year.
She said it is important for their class to have something fun to remember about their high school experience.
The student added all of the money raised will be donated if they are unable to host the event.
Riches said all of the senior students, and some from lower grades, have come together to make this happen. She said to expect fundraisers throughout the year from the Delhi classes.
