160 new long-term care beds are coming to Tillsonburg.
Late last week, the Ontario government announced that they had allocated 160 new long-term care beds through peopleCare Communities.
Construction on the new Tillsonburg facility is expected to start by the spring of 2023.
With the addition of 160 new beds allocated to peopleCare Tillsonburg, there are now 188 new
and 100 upgraded long-term care beds in development in Oxford County, including 28 new and 100 upgraded beds at peopleCare Tavistock.
