During the holidays, it’s a time where many people gather and perhaps partake in a few drinks – especially on New Year’s Eve.
Acting Sgt. Ed Sanchuk is reminding the public that they will have roaming RIDE checks tonight and for the day ahead as well.
Sanchuk says it’s important to note that these RIDE checks will be up at any day or at any time, something he has heard people complain about in the past.
Sanchuk said it’s important to note that a designated driver is just that – someone designated to drive that evening without having a drink.
