A tragic update to a collision that took place earlier this week.
Two SUV’s collided at the intersection of Windham Road 9 and Windham East Quarter Line Road, with one driver having extricated from the vehicle by volunteer firefighters.
They were sent to a local hospital and then airlifted to an out of town hospital with serious injuries.
On Wednesday, the 65-year-old William Craig Darbishire of Norfolk County succumbed to their injuries.
The other driver involved suffered minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
