The Toronto police officer who shot Rodger Kotanko will not speak to the SIU.
That is according to a new report from the CBC.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is also reporting that the officers declined to release his notes, which the Special Investigations Unit said is his legal right.
Kotanko, the 70-year-old registered gunsmith, was shot and killed at his Norfolk County home early November during a search warrant carried out by the Toronto Police.
As of November 18, the family had not seen the search warrant in question.
