The Norfolk General Hospital Foundation has launched their new fundraising campaign – Road to Recovery.
This campaign is focused on raising funds to update and replace what they say is desperately needed equipment.
In the release, the hospital says it expects to see an increase in service with this aging equipment as individuals begin returning to the hospital for various appointments that were delayed to due various reasons throughout the pandemic.
Many of our departments across the hospital have a priority list of equipment including: Diagnostic Imaging, OR, Surgical Day Care, Respiratory Therapy,Complex Care, Emergency Department, Pharmacy, and the Lab.
These department lists vary from small to large items but every item is a priority.
