Port Rowan Public School’s COVID-19 case count continues to climb.
5 more cases were confirmed on Tuesday, bringing it up to 21 confirmed cases within the school over 17 days.
In the past 24 hours, 15 cases were reported within the Grand Erie District School Board – 13 in elementary and 2 at Simcoe Composite School.
A new case was confirmed at Houghton Public School, bringing it to 4 cases reported in November.
Langton public school reported another case bringing it to 6 cases reported over the course of the month as well.
Looking at our local elementary school COVID-19 numbers for November Courtland Public School reported 2 cases, Delhi Public had 4, Lynndale Heights recorded 2, Teetville had 4, and Walpole North Elementary School reported 6 cases of the virus.
When it comes to Secondary schools, Dunnville and Hagersville saw 2 cases reported last month while Valley Heights reported 4.
Within the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board, Sacred Heart School in Langton has seen 7 cases since November 21st with the latest case being reported on the 29th.
St. Francis Cabrini, which was temporarily closed due to an outbreak, had their last confirmed case being reported on the 19th – that school saw a total of 14 cases reported over November.
St. Michael’s in Dunnville saw a single case in November, St. Michaels in Walsh saw 2, St. Bernard of Clairvaux School in Waterford had 2, St. Stephen’s School reported 1, and St. Mary’s in Hagersville saw 1.
Holy Trinity saw a single case last month.
In total, 86 cases of COVID-19 were reported within schools in Haldimand-Norfolk in November.
