The OPP is in full gear when it comes to the Festive Ride Program.
Until January 2nd, the force will be increasing their presence by conducting RIDE checks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the province.
Acting Sgt Ed Sanchuk says this shouldn’t worry at all – unless you get behind the wheel while intoxicated.
If you’re planning to drive or take drugs, arrange a designated driver beforehand, take a taxi or public transit.
And if you’re on the road and suspect a driver is impaired, call police.
