Skyler Williams was amongst those arrested in British Columbia by the RCMP.
In a response to the station, a 1492 Landback Lane’s spokesperson confirmed Williams and two other Haudenosaunee Land Defenders from Six Nations were arrested at Gidimt’en Checkpoint.
There were around 12 others arrested as well.
They said that Williams is currently being held and will be appearing in bail court this morning.
A request has been made the group for the immediate release of everyone arrested yesterday.
Williams, and others at the site, were there opposing construction of a multi-billion dollar natural gas pipeline.
