Norfolk County is looking into different options when it comes to waste collection.
The current contract for curbside collection expires in 2024, which includes garbage, recycling, and leaf and yard waste.
In staff’s report, they outlined the options including bags or carts, set out limits, and bag tags.
During the presentation, Councillor Amy Martin brought up the idea of green bins.
She later took to her social medias to continue that conversation with the community.
Staff was instructed to hire a consultant to complete a financial modelling of the different waste collection options.
