A teacher who has been in the spotlight for spreading his views on vaccines for years has officially resigned.
The Simcoe Reformer is reporting that Tim Sullivan will no longer be teaching within the Grand Erie District School Board.
Sullivan sent an email to the paper to make the announcement.
Sullivan previously faced the Ontario College Of Teachers for spreading information in the classroom about the dangers of vaccines and is set to face the College again after new allegations emerged.
In Sullivan’s email, he told the paper that the hearing could cost him up to $10,000 a day – which is why he resigned – but he still will have to appear.
Back in July of last year, we initially broke the story of the new allegations.
That original story can be found here.
