
Fanshawe College is offering a free skills development program for the health-care industry.
The college says that Skills2Care will generate employment opportunities for Supportive Care Assistants with local organizations in Southwestern Ontario and is free for qualifying participants.
There are three phases to the program, including four weeks of online training, four weeks of a paid work placement, and employment services.
The program is available free of charge to residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older and unemployed, precariously employed or employed with low household income.
