Three people have been charged after drugs and weapons were seized during a traffic stop on Simcoe.
Members of the Norfolk County OPP stopped a vehicle on Evergreen Hill Road on Tuesday where a quantity of illicit drugs, weapons, and currency was located.
As a result, 39-year-old Claude Marcel Simon of Woodstock, 28-year-olf Alexandra Elizabeth Prime of Norfolk, and 41-year-old Mackenzie Carroll of Brantford have been charged.

Claude Marcel Simon of Woodstock was charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl,
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose (three counts),
- Unauthorized possession of weapon (three counts),
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order,
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000,
- Possession Break In instruments,
- Obstruct peace officer,
- Drive motor vehicle – no licence, and
- Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available.
Alexandra Elizabeth Prime of Norfolk was charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl,
- Possession of Fentanyl,
- Possession of Methamphetamine,
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose (three counts),
- Unauthorized possession weapon (three counts),
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000, and
- Possession Break In instruments.
Mackenzie Carroll of Brantford was charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl,
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose (three counts),
- Unauthorized possession of weapon (three counts),
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order,
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000,
- Possession Break In instruments,
- Obstruct peace officer, and
- Failure to comply with release order (five counts).
All are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
