The Norfolk County OPP is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who committed an indecent act.
Police say they were called to a Crescent Boulevard address in Simcoe on Thursday afternoon.
According to police, a mother and her 10-year-old child were sitting at a picnic table at Dingle Creek when an unknown male approached and sat nearby.
Police say the man waved at the victims before committing an indecent act.
The suspect, a medium height white male, is believed to be around 50-years-old and had brown hair.
The suspect was wearing brown sunglasses, a blue t-shirt with a muscle shirt underneath and jean shorts.
The Norfolk County OPP is continuing to investigate and is asking businesses and homeowners in the area with video surveillance cameras to check their footage to see if the suspect may have been captured on camera.
