The Board of Health has approved the creation of a letter to be sent regarding the possibility of providing vaccines to temporary foreign workers prior to their arrival in Canada.
Interim Medical Officer Of Health Dr. Alex Hukowich suggested it be crafted and sent to the federal government regarding the thousands of workers still expected to arrive in Norfolk County.
Hukowich explained why it is important to have the workers vaccinated.
The motion was passed during the special Board of Health meeting on Tuesday.
