OPP Sergeant Dave Hackney from the Marine Unit tells us one of things people can do before heading out, is to make sure you have enough lifejackets.
Continuing, he doesn’t suggest keeping a jerry can of gasoline on board your boat.
Instead, he says ensure the motor has enough fuel for the round trip.
