Simcoe’s first cannabis store is officially open.
Simcoe Joint is offering curbside pickup after officially being allowed to move ahead with their quiet opening on Tuesday.
Owner Eleonora Plata already has quite a bit of experience in a relatively new market and was excited to bring that knowledge to the community.
One thing that Plata said they did, which she said is important to do in every community, is to dedicate one wall as a canvas to showcase the community they are in.
For Simcoe’s location, the mural is bookended by images of the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show with other images such as the lighthouse in Wellington Park and a tobacco kiln.
While not ideal to open up during COVID-19, she is happy that they can officially start helping customers even if it is through curbside pickup.
To order or get more information you can go to simcoejoint.ca.
They are also available across all social media platforms.
They are located at 95 Queensway West in Simcoe, as part of the M&M Plaza.
They are looking forward to opening up to the public for in-person transactions soon.
