Due to COVID, everyone is walking separately for this year’s Coldest Night of the Year Event, but the walk is still on.
The event is aimed at bringing awareness to homelessness and poverty in the local community.
That was Dan Avey, founder of Youth Unlimited in Simcoe who put on the annual event.
He says unlike years past, they will not be gathering together to face the cold.
Despite the changes due to the pandemic, Avey says they are on track to have a great 2021 event.
