The local COVID-19 vaccination stats are now available on the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit website.
According to the page, 2,925 doses of the vaccine have been received from the ministry.
Of those, 1,648, or 56.3 per cent, have been administered.
159 individuals in the area have completed their vaccine series.
“Doses received from the Ministry are based on five doses per vaccine vial,” says the website. “Total Doses Administered may begin to exceed the Total Doses Received if additional doses can be extracted from the vials, as per each pharmaceutical company’s directive.”
The health district is currently in Phase 1 of the vaccination rollout.
