Both the Haldimand County OPP and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating a fire in Jarvis after a body was discovered.
Just before 5am yesterday, the Haldimand County OPP and Haldimand County Fire services were called to an address on Highway 6 about the fire.
Police say the body was located in one of the structures on the property that was destroyed by fire.
As of now, police report that the body has not been identified.
The Haldimand County OPP are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone who may have more information to come forward.
