Local filmmaker Winnie Murphy’s More Than Just Water is part of this years Routes to Roots Film Festival.
Murphy explains that the small documentary focuses on her dad, the history of Port Dover and it’s fishing industry.
Now, she’s able to watch her documentary in her local theatre.
She said the film also taught her more about the community and even her father.
Murphy says that the entire experience of making her documentary was amazing.
