The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit has declared an outbreak at Dover Cliffs but little else is known about the situation.
In a release, the county says an outbreak has been declared at the long-term care facility in Port Dover and that no residents have tested positive.
Typically, in a release it would say how many people have tested positive and if they are residents or staff.
We’ve reached out for more information and were told the following:
“All the information we can provide at this point is in the release. By providing any further information, we’d risk violating the medical privacy of one or more individuals.”
A public health management plan has been instituted.
Below is the entire press release that was sent to us from the Health Unit.
