
A verbal altercation at the Simcoe dog park eventually leads to impaired driving charges.
On Monday afternoon, police say someone in a vehicle got into a verbal altercation with a resident at the dog park and left the area.
Police were called, and they tracked down the vehicle shortly after – taking a 73-year-old man into custody.
Alistair Bruce Macleod of Norfolk County was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a late date.
