While farmers were rejoicing, Turkey Point residents were concerned.
Saturday saw significant rainfall in Norfolk County breaking a long dry spell.
While local farmers were pleasured to see some much-needed relief after an extended heatwave, Turkey Point once again saw their community flooded.
Water spilled out onto numerous roads and properties.
Some local businesses decided to close up for the morning, or even the entire day, due to the flooding.
The Suntan Motel went as far as asking people to avoid driving in the area, for the time being, saying that cars are forcing the water outward and flood area businesses already trying to keep the water at bay.
Turkey Point is no stranger to flooding, last fall recorded numerous events which saw the community go partially underwater due to rainfall and elevated water conditions in Lake Erie.
