COVID-19 has affected everybody around the world in some way but there have been positive stories over the past weeks.
Yesterday, The Catherwood and the Kiln gave free pizza to local paramedics and nurses.
Jennifer Hutchings, owner of the restaurant, says it was an easy decision.
Continuing, Hutchings says that the community has been incredibly supportive since they closed their physical doors on March 23rd.
Since then, they’ve been offering no-contact pickup, which Hutchings said was agreed on by their staff.
Hutchings adds that people should call ahead to place their order, acknowledging that they’re doing their part to keep everybody safe, happy and fed.
