A request for a formal debate has been issued by Mayor Kristal Chopp and Deputy Mayor Amy Martin.
This past Tuesday, Councillor Michael Columbus took time at the end of the council meeting to voice his objection to the proposed HUB project.
With the finalized grant application being submitted this coming Tuesday – Martin and Chopp felt that Columbus’ timing was inappropriate and Norfolk County residents and staff should not be discouraged.
The Lighthouse Festival Theatre says they will host the debate if Geysens and Columbus accept the offer.
