Big plans for Waterford.
Right now, the Villages of Waterford subdivision is seeing lots of interest but co-owner Tom O’Hara is looking at opportunities sitting nearby.
Namely vacant land that he would love to see used to build more homes in the community.
He wanted to gauge council’s reaction to the proposal before completing a study with a large price tag.
If the study goes well, he would ask council to join in him requesting the urban boundary expansion to allow the development from the upper governments.
O’Hara also explained his plans of adding paths from the subdivision to the downtown to encourage revitalization and that he is looking into affordable housing options as well.
Council received the deputation as information at this time.
