The United Way of Haldimand and Norfolk is now accepting funding applications for non-profit organizations for the upcoming year.
Applications for those groups that serve the Haldimand and Norfolk Community can be done on the United Way’s website before Friday, January 10th.
The funding decisions will be community-focused, with an Allocations Committee formed every year by a group of local volunteers from various sectors in Haldimand and Norfolk County.
This year, the United Way has supported 15 programs that are serving over 15,000 individuals in need.
For the 2020-2021 funding year, they hope to support 16,000 people through mental health and wellness supports, educational programs, community programs, and initiatives to help people move from poverty to possibility.
