
The Norfolk OPP is hoping to track down a gas and dash suspect.
Police say on Wednesday morning, a suspect pumped gas into their vehicle at a Simcoe Street address in Middleton then drove away without paying.

An 18-year-old Norfolk County woman is facing mischief charges after damaging a business’s glass entrance door.
The incident occurred around midnight on October 31st at a Queensway West address.
18-year-old Abigail Burtch of Norfolk County was charged with:
Mischief under $5,000
Fail to comply with probation order
Being intoxicated in a public place
Person under 19 years having liquor
She will appear in court on a later date.

A man wanted on an outstanding warrant found in Simcoe allegedly carrying Meth and Cocaine.
On Thursday afternoon, an officer spotted the individual on Kent Street and took him into custody without incident.
50-year-old Matthew John Frederick Paterson of Norfolk County was charged with:
Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Methamphetamine
He will appear in court at a later date.

A driver and passenger escape injury after a tree falls onto their vehicle.
On Thursday night, police say the pair were driving in a car down Port Ryerse Road in Woodhouse with a tree came crashing down onto their vehicle.
The startled driver was able to safely stop and observed moderate damage to their car and as a result, contacted police.
No injuries were reported to the driver and passenger located inside the vehicle as a result of this incident.
