The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign is back!
Until the 22nd, restaurant owners across the country will be donating the full $1 from every Smile Cookie purchased to charities in their community.
550 Canadian charities, hospitals, and community programs will be supported through the campaign, which runs every year.
Here locally, the funds will be going to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation’s Year of the Cat 2.0 Campaign.
The Year of the Cat 2.0 Campaign is raising money for a new 128 slice CT Unit, their current CT has been in use since 2006 and is coming to the end of its serviceability.
Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign has been running for over 23 years, after beginning in 1996 to help fundraise for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital.
Just last year, the campaign raised $7.8 million across Canada.
