Hoy’s will return.
myFM got a chance to speak with owner Tony Yin this morning (Thursday) after a sign posted on the front door of his Chinese restaurant starting making its rounds online.
The sign indicated that the restaurant was closed effective this month and that people could contact Yin to get money back for any gift cards purchased.
When speaking to Yin, he said Hoy’s will be coming back – they just don’t have a set deadline at the moment.
They are regrouping and looking at several rehires moving forward before the doors open again.
Yin says between his other businesses and the subdivision development in Waterford he has a lot on his plate right now but if all goes according to plan Hoy’s may be open as soon as October.
