Art With Heart Studio has been chosen to receive the Maureen Dodd Arts Foundation legacy fund.
Studio founder and CEO Nikki Campbell Schram says the fund honours the memory of longtime local teacher and musician Maureen Dodd – by supporting and encouraging the enhancement and development of the Arts for students.
Campbell-Schram says the Foundation decided to give what remained of the Legacy Fund to the group which added up to over $24,000.
She says this money will allow their operation to connect more readily with students, especially through school.
Schram says the Dodd Foundation’s donation to Art with Heart Studio belongs to the young people of Norfolk County because they will be the ones who directly benefit from this generosity.
