Some of the best long-distance swimmers in Canada and beyond will put their skills to the test this weekend.
The North Shore Challenge will see swimmers enter three different forms of racing — a 1.5 km, a 3.8 km, and 10 km marathon swims.
Race Co-director Josh Reid says volunteers are still needed.
All money raised from the event goes to support Camp Trillium — a camp for kids with cancer.
The event is Sunday in Turkey Point.
