Over 17-hundred transport trucks were checked during the OPP’s Operation Corridor

Nearly 1700 transports were checked over a 24-hour span as part of an enforcement blitz between the OPP and MTO.

OPP Sgt Kerry Schmidt says the blitz was called Operation Corridor.


Hey says 226 speeding charges made up most of the 697 charges laid as part of Operation Corridor, and defective equipment ranked second. Officials as part of the blitz also took 63 trucks out of service.
