OPP warns of growing tension between rival biker gangs ahead of Friday the 13th

The OPP’s Biker Enforcement Unit is warning the public that a simple act of purchasing a shirt on Friday the 13th can help fund crime and put a target on your back.

Officers are sounding the alarm as bikers flood into Port Dover on Friday during a time when tensions are high between the Hells Angels and the Outlaws Motorcycle Gang.

They say if you purchase paraphernalia or clothing with either brand on it, not only will this money go towards activities like drug and human trafficking, but it also puts you at risk of the rival gang.

The OPP will have a highly visible police presence in and around Port Dover with a heavy focus on traffic flow and direction throughout the event to ensure everyone’s safety.
