Norfolk farmers are assisting with Toronto’s first ever pay-what-you-can grocery store

Norfolk County is on the cusp of what could be a revolutionary new idea.

The first ever pay-what-you-can grocery store has opened in Toronto with Langton’s EZ Grow Farms Dusty Zamecnik partnering up to help connect this unique store to Ontario’s Garden.

Lots of “number 2” fruits and vegetables tend to go to landfills, and with Zamecnik’s connections with Norfolk’s Agriculture Board and the farming community, he is hoping to have the county be on the forefront of this movement by sending much needed produce their way.

If any local farmers are interested in being a part of this, you can contact through email.
