Norfolk County is looking to improve its customer service.
In a report tabled to Norfolk County Council last week, our elected officials looked at multiple ways the county could help serve the public better.
Norfolk CAO David Cribbs noted for a municipality of our size and the staff they have at their disposal; customer service is provided very well.
Councilor Jim Oliver asked staff to investigate a few options in the document, such as expanding their partnership with the Library to expanding hours and services at the County Administration Building in Langton.
Oliver also wanted staff to see if the public could start paying for services online.
Some of the other options that were presented included a call centre, a dedicated Customer Service Department, and increasing staff in areas of high complaints.
Staff will come back with a follow-up report looking at Oliver’s recommendations.
